Sanctuary & Special Needs
Many of our dogs & cats came from an animal hoarder who recently died. Some of these animals have lived in cages all their lives. Many are old & infirm. Although sweet & loving, they may not be good candidates for adoption due to their age or special needs. Some require expensive veterinary treatment. Some are not socialized to humans, but happily play with their canine and feline friends.
Each of these animals needs a sponsor to help defray the costs of food, & veterinary care. Won't you please be a Fairy God Parent to one of these animals. They who do not deserve to be put down for non-life threatening physical conditions or timidity towards humans. They can live out their days in our sanctuary, playing happily with their canine & feline friends.
Shep is an older border collie mix. He was once owned by an animal hoarder. He will
no doubt remain in our sanctuary due to his age & health issues. He now has a wonderful Fairy Godmother
to
cover his food and veterinary costs. Thank you Dottie!
Shar
has been at our shelter a few years. He is not available for adoption. He needs a fairy god parent to cover
his food & vet costs.
Misty a Senior Australian Shepherd, She is available for
adoption. But she
has been at AARF for a long while so needs a fairy godparent to care about her
until she finds a furrever home.
