Our pets are the lucky ones. We have a special relationship with them. We give them our love and, in return, they bring us so much joy and give us their unending friendship.
Unfortunately, many animals are homeless. We often see a stray cat or dog, wishing that there were a way to open our hearts and homes to another loving animal. Many of us want to be more involved in the welfare of animals, but we feel we cannot add another pet to our households.
Now there is a way to help maintain the safety and health of less fortunate companion animals. You can Sponsor-A-Pet through our organization, Pet Adoption and Lifecare Society (P.A.L.S.), an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a non kill living arrangement for stray, abandoned, and unwanted pets. Some of these strays have problems that make finding a home for them difficult so are in long term foster care with volunteers. For maintaining many of these pets, the cost of veterinary care, as well as shelter and food often exceeds our fund-raising efforts.
Won’t you consider sponsoring a pet through P.A.L.S.? For the modest annual cost of $75.00, your tax-deductible donation will provide special care for a pet until it is adopted into a loving home. If the pet you sponsor should be adopted, you may select another pet for the duration of the year. And you can relax, knowing your donation will work miracles in the life of a sponsored pet and that your sponsored pet has a chance at life because of your support.
