In Memoriam: JoAnne Cox

The dogs and cats at the APL lost a hero on June 16, 2006 when JoAnne Cox passed over the Rainbow Bridge. JoAnne worked tirelessly for many years to find "forever" homes for the homeless dogs and cats from the APL shelter. JoAnne put her heart and soul into the PetFinder website and other APL projects dedicated to abandoned dogs and cats in Ashtabula County. JoAnne believed that there was no such thing as a plain or unadoptable dog. Her descriptions and photos on Petfinder were a labor of love. She took the time to get to know each of the animals, so she could bring the dogs and cats to life on the website. JoAnne's true love and mission were the dogs with "personality quirks and special needs." Please help us continue JoAnne's mission!
