Help a Furry Fund
- Duncan is one of our LFR Alumni. Duncan was severely neglected by his previous owners and left to die when Little Furries Rescue intervened to try to save his life. He needed surgery, tube feedings and various medications through most of his childhood.
- Jaspin was not abused, but abandoned at a kill shelter at 19 years of age. Because of her age, she needed extended vet care, a teeth cleaning and many other things to keep her comfortable while she shared her life with us.
- Sarah was one of over 200 rabbits rescued from a "collector" who was neglecting them badly. When she came to us, this 4 year old had uterine cancer from not being spayed, along with poor health, urine sludge and coccidia. This older girl went though so much and continued to fight. She lived and thrived in the love of her family for another 2 years because we wouldn't give up on this girl.
In memory of these fighters we are starting a monetary collection to help other pets that come into our rescue from neglectful situations. Vet bills are always our highest bill and hardest to pay. We can save another life and send another little angel to to a great family with enough donations. Thanks so far to the people who have donated! This will help so many!
