BARKS is funded entirely by private donations and fund raising. One of our largest fund raisers is our semi-annual garage sale. Check the events section of our web site for upcoming dates.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, or would like to donate some household items for an upcoming garage sale, please contact us by phone at 973-300-3185 or e-mail:

Planned Giving

Your philanthropy can live on even after you are gone. You can make a lasting gift to help these animals by naming BARKS in your will.
This may provide a tax advantage for your estate. You may wish to specify an amount or a particular asset as a bequest.
You may also specify or limit how your gift may be used. You may donate your interest in an IRA or you may name BARKS as an owner and beneficiary on a life insurance policy.
Please consult your financial advisor, attorney, or estate planner.

Charitable Recycling Program

BARKS is participating in a cell phone and Ink Jet cartridge recycling collection fundraiser.

BARKS will receive $1.00 per Cell Phone or Ink Cartridge.

Collection bins will be placed at:
The Byram Municipal Building or you can drop off phones at BARKS adoption days

To learn more about charitable recycling, visit http://www.charitablerecycling.com

Interested volunteers and friends etc. can log on to www.igive.com/BARKS which has agreements with hundreds of merchants.
You need to register and then designate BARKS as your cause. A percentage of your purchases will be sent to BARKS provided you log on and start your shopping at igive.
The percentages vary by merchant from 1-26 percent.
Please be sure to designate BARKS (without the periods) if you decide to register.
Thank you for your continued support.
