BARKS Receives Grant
Byram, NJ August 2008 _ BARKS received a grant this week to increase its number of spay/neuter surgeries by over 50 percent.
The organization’s 10-year-old pet sterilization program successfully alters more than 250 animals per year on average to
proactively fight the area’s dire pet overpopulation problem. from PetSmart Charities to Neuter over 100 Additional Pets The program offers low cost spay/neuter services for pets residing in the Sussex county area. BARKS goal is to reduce pet overpopulation in the greater Sussex county area by 20 percent over the next several years.
