MATTIE
I know you want me in your life; why would you not? I am oh-so sweet and cuddly, not to mention playful, outgoing and just a bit silly...well, maybe a lot of silly. I am still a puppy and have a lot of energy to run and play; I will make mistakes like all puppies do and would need to go to an obedience class or two - I am a lab, so you know I'll be the top dog in class! Even though I am small now, just keep in mind I will grow-up to be a large-sized dog. Why don't you make an appointment to see you, so I can cover you with slobbery kisses?

Volunteers who can work between 3pm - 7pm weekdays and 9am - 12pm weekends are always needed. We currently are in need of volunteers who are willing to help clean cages. Interested persons must be at least 18 years of age, or older. Volunteer applications are available at the Shelter, the Royal Oak Police station, or on the City of Royal Oak website. All applications must be approved by the Royal Oak Police Department and take about 2 weeks to process.
