Tom and Jerry are the best of friends. They're here at the shelter because their human companion became very ill and could no longer take care of them. After 10 years (practically their whole lives), it was a sad parting for all of them. And having had to say "goodbye" to their human friend, Tom and Jerry cannot bear to be parted from each other.
Staff members describe them as "polite gentlemen" who love to sit next to you, give head butts, and rub against you. They greet the staff at the door to the cat colony room every morning.
They both have a calming presence and make wonderful companions. They would do well in a quiet household, but could easily tolerate visiting children due to their outgoing and affectionate natures.
If you are looking for a purrfect pair of companions, search no more. You've found them. Come and visit them soon.
And even though we'll be happy to see them go to a new home when their new best friend comes calling, we will miss them when they leave!
