About Us
Purr-Fect Match Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit, pet
adoption organization located in Broward County, Florida.
Purr-Fect Match specializes in cat and kitten adoptions.
Our main mission is to find permanent, loving homes for cats. Our goal
is to find the "Purr-Fect Match" for both animal and the adopting
family.
The adoption fee is $100 and is 100% tax deductable. Your adoption fee
goes only toward medical costs and costs of fostering the cats and
kittens.
We have space for the public to meet our cats and kittens in Petco,
located at 8111 West Broward Blvd., Plantation, FL 33324,
next to Toys R Us, on the opposite side of Broward Blvd. from the
Broward Mall.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting in late March,
Purr-Fect Match Rescue will be moving away from housing cats and
kittens full-time at our Petco adoption center. Instead, we will hold
adoption events at our Petco adoption center on occasional weekends. Our cats and
kittens will be there to meet the public and volunteers will be on hand
to introduce you to them and help you choose the perfect cat for you.

We will also continue to use Petco as a place for individual cats to
get acquainted with potential adopters, by appointment. Contact us to
set up a time and one of our volunteers will meet you with the special
cat you selected.
While not at Petco, our cats and kittens live in foster homes with our
volunteer foster parents, where they get lots of love and attention and
learn to be good "house kitties".

Adopting a Friend
Interested in adopting a faithful companion for life? Send us an email
or call. We will do a phone interview then review your application.
You will need to provide us with a copy of your driver's license.
Please keep in mind that while our mission is to find permanent loving
homes for each of the cats,
we are also wanting to make a "Purr-fect Match". We want to match the
cat with your expectations. The more you tell us about yourself, your
household, your future plans,
your pet history and what you are looking for in a pet, the better we
can make that "Purr-fect Match."

Volunteering With Us
Purr-Fect Match Rescue is an all-volunteer organization. We run on
volunteers! Whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little, we
need you.

Providing a Foster Home
We need volunteer foster parents to provide loving temporary homes to
our cats and kittens awaiting adoption.
All veterinary expenses for cats and kittens in our foster homes are
paid by Purr-Fect Match, including vaccinations and pre-adoption
neuter/spay.
As a Purr-Fect Match foster parent, you will get the advice and support
of the Purr-Fect Match team throughout your fostering experience.
Volunteering at Petco
We need volunteers to help with our weekend Petco adoption events.
If you can volunteer for just a few hours a week, that would make a big
difference to us and our cats.
Helping Us Show Off Our Cats
Are you good at taking pictures and making videos of cats and kittens?
Willing to give it a try?
Help us use the resources Petfinder.com provides to show the world how
beautiful and lovable our cats are.
We would especially like to take advantage of Petfinder's new video
upload feature to show short (30 seconds or less) videos of our cats.
All it takes is an ordinary digial camera with a video function... and
someone who knows how to use it!

Are You Caring for Cats in Need?
Purr-Fect Match Rescue applauds all the caring people who care for cats
in need. We plan to use this space to post information and resources to
help you.
Caring for Orphaned Kittens
One for the most difficult challenges we face is caring for young
kittens whose mother has died or otherwise cannot care for them. This
is an emergency situation and immediate action must be taken. Click here

Low Cost Spay/Neuter Services
The following organization neuter and spay cats and kittens, including
feral cats, at discount prices. Purr-Fect Match Rescue, Inc., is not
affiliated with any of these organization, but we support their mission
to improve the lives of cats by providing low cost spay/neuter services
to the community.
Cats Exclusive, Inc., a long-time local cat rescue group, has
recently opened a low cost spay/neuter clinic located in their facility
at
6350 West Atlantic Blvd., Margate, FL 33063.
The clinic is open five days a week. Its services are available to
everyone. Kittens weighing 3 lbs. or more may be spayed or neutered.
Low cost vaccinations, microchipping, and a limited number of other
