We are always looking for fosters, volunteers, and members. To inquire about any of these things please e-mail or call us or better yet please come to our meetings held the First Monday of every month at 6 PM
Who We Are
We are a not for profit agency dedicated to placing animals before they are sent to the local shelter. We are not affiliated with the Gillette City/County Shelter. We are run completely by donations and always appreciate any kind of donation wether it be food, supplies, or a monetary donation. At present we do not have a shelter but that is our main goal and we are working toward it day by day.
We are a Foster program only and our listed pets are either in foster care or with their owners who must place them. If at all possible they will remain with their owners since our foster space is limited.
For information on listing your pets with us please phone us at 307-682-7465. Please do not be discouraged if you reach our answering machine or do not get an automatic e-mail response! We are all volunteers and we try to make ourselves as available as possible and we will return all calls and e-mails as soon as possible. Please, when calling or e-mailing to list your pets, provide as much information as possible w/ regards to their behavior, needs, medical history, age, sex, color, etc... The more information available to us, the more we can give potential adopters, which saves us a lot of time!! Also, if you are listing a pet with us, please send a picture via our e-mail address to be added to our Petfinder site!! Your pets will be adopted much more quickly if we have photos available for potential owners to see!!
Adopting a friend
If one of these pets seems to fit your needs and you think he or she will be a welcome addition to your family please call 307-682-7465 and get you in contact with either the foster family or the owners of the pet to schedule an appointment! Please if e-mailing us, include your full name, phone number we can reach you at during both day and evening hours, your city, county, and state. Please be aware certain species/breeds are illegal in certain cities, counties, and states and we will not place an animal in a state where they are illegal. Before giving you the foster or owner's contact information we may ask you to complete a brief questionnaire, allow for a home visit, and/or we will make sure your environment fits the animals needs as well as yours. Please understand this is for the protection of you, the owner/foster, and the animal.
