Since we are an all volunteer based operation. We are extremely grateful for donations of any amount. This money helps with fees to pull animals from shelters, get them vetted and/or transported to their new forever home.
In many cases there are some sad stories that accompany these little hearts. Thus, more extensive bills are involved. Sometimes there needs to be surgery, heartworm medicating or dental work. These cases are very costly. If you'd like to make a donation to a specific case, please note it with your donation, and it will be directed to that dog. |
ABOUT US
PomPosse is a nationwide network of dedicated volunteers, helping place homeless Pomeranian's and Chihuahua's. Most volunteers that belong to the group do individual rescue in their geographic area. Some are pet lovers that just want to help in any way they can. Whether it be fostering, springing from a pound or transport, we are always trying to make a difference.
Our volunteers work together to research Pomeranians in need, and keep a database current on the status of each dog's situation. This enables us to reach out to those in dire straits that are in jeopardy of being put to sleep.
National databases are scanned daily, such as, Petfinder.com, 1-800-save-a-pet.com and many more.

ADOPTING A FRIEND

Fees normally cover all vaccines, rabies shot and tag, worming, HW check, and spay/neuter if the dog is an adult.
Puppies and Adult dogs: $200.00 -$255.00 This estimated veterinary fee includes spay or neuter of the dog, vaccines current, rabies certificate, health exam, bath, flea preventative, worming if needed, and may include grooming. Dogs that come to us from southern shelters will have a heartworm test.
Dogs 10 yrs and older: $155.00. We offer a discount for an older dog, since they may need a bit of extra care from you. An old dog is a special kind of joy. Like well broken in shoes they are a good fit because they are usually well behaved, already trained, and will often give years of love and devotion if you give them a yearly dental cleaning, a joint healthy diet, and a warm sweater for winter outings.
Home Visit: Once the adoption application is processed, we will arrange to visit you and all family members at a time when everyone is available to talk with our home visit representative.
Applications are processed through a commitee and in random order, there may be other applications on the dog you are applying for.We do not adopt to homes with small children .. |
