Our Featured Cat - Nickee

This wonderful guy is neutered, up to date on all his shots and the most loving lap kitty you will ever have. He wants to sit on your lap all the time. He will be a wonderful companion and would love a life-long home. If you have time for a lap cat, this is your guy.

MISSION STATEMENT Save a Kitty Feral Cat Program, Inc. is dedicated to the well-being of free-roaming and feral cats/kittens. Our goal is to educate society on the importance of (TNR) Trap, Neuter and Return and colony management. Our program's volunteers will educate citizens on how to feed, humanely trap for sterilization and provide medical care, while monitoring colonies of feral cats/kittens. We will provide as safe an environment humanly possible for them, to live out their lives with dignity. We will work to secure funding, to continue our work with these beautiful and precious animals. We will also strive to protect stray and feral cats/kittens by advocating for their rights as a once domestic animal, in the hope that Trap, Neuter and Return will not be needed in their future. We hope to end their suffering and allow quality of life. We are a non-profit organization that practices (TNR) Trap, Neuter and Return and colony management. We are volunteers who feed, obtain medical care for stray/feral cats/kittens as our donations/sponsorships allow. We hope to educate citizens on the importance of spaying/neutering their felines so that they do not end up on their own trying to survive. Cats/kittens that are adoptable are placed in to stable inside homes after an approved adoption application and care contract is signed. We require spaying/neutering of an adult before it enters the new home and younger felines, when the animal is mature enough. We do check on our animals continuously throughout their lives and ask that the animal is cared for as it should be. Our contracts are enforceable.

Adopting a friend

If you are interested in one our cats/kittens, an application is required. If you are approved a care contract must be signed and adhered to.

Come Visit Us!

We are located in Parkersburg, WV, approximately 2 1/2 hours from the city of Columbus, Ohio. Many of our feral cats live at managed colony sites and are not adoptable unless you would like a wonderful barn cat. Relocation of these cats is a work in progress and takes time and patience. At times, we have many wonderful adoptable cats and beautiful kittens that we have tamed or (are tame) re-socialized and they need good, loving homes. If you are interested, please contact Kandi Habeb @ (304) 482-8987.
