I am glad to let everyone know that we were able to save a few dogs this time around. Thanks to those of you who adopted, and also to those of you who inquired about other dogs.
Who We Are
We are the dogcatchers for Gilmer County. We pick up stray dogs in the community.
Adopting a friend
We are required by the county to keep each dog that is picked up for five days. If at that time they are not claimed, they can be given away. If no one wants to adopt them, they will be put down. Adoption of these dogs is free to anyone willing to give them a good home.
