VOLUNTEERS ALWAYS NEEDED!!!
We the cats of Happy Endings would love to have more volunteers. As you know we cats can be very
demanding. Every day a group of wonderful volunteers comes to the shelter to let us out to play while
they clean our cages and give us fresh food and water. We are so thankful for these wonderful
people, but would love to have even more people to serve us. We have volunteers of all ages, from
middle school children to retired people. If you have a few hours a week and would like to help
take care of us, please stop by during open house hours to find out what days we need more help or
E-mail happyend1@att.net.
WE CARE
Happy Endings is now a part of the "We Care" program through Pick 'N Save. You can help Happy
Endings every time you make a grocery purchase at any Pick 'N Save store in Wisconsin. Just fill
out your saver's card club application and name Happy Endings as your favorite charity. The Happy
Endings account/donation number is 313600. Just present your Pick 'N Save Advantage card at
the checkout every time you make a purchase. The more Pick 'N Save customers with our account number
assigned to a card, the larger the donation to Happy Endings. Please tell your friends, family and
co-workers about this new way to help the animals at our shelter.
If you have already designated another non-profit group as your charity and would now like all
your purchases to be credited to Happy Endings, you can simply fill out an Advantage Card "change
form", which is available at the service center of any Pick 'N Save store. Thank you.
KITTY LITTER DONATIONS NEEDED
We go through several bags of kitty litter daily. We currently purchase much of the litter we use.
We appreciate every bag of litter donated; however, we would love to find a company, individual or
group of people to help with our monthly kitty litter needs. We also have other monthly needs such
as laundry supplies. Even if you can just pick up one month a year to sponsor an item, we would be
thrilled, and so would the kitties!!!

WHO WE ARE
Happy Endings is a non-profit, no-kill organization run solely by volunteers. We have been in
existence for over 12 years. Our mission is to find permanent homes for strays, abused or unwanted
animals that are either brought in to our shelter or rescued off the street. In the year 2005 we
were able to place over 200 animals into new and loving homes. We find homses for each and every one
of our animals, no matter how long it takes!
ADOPTING A FRIEND
All potential adopters must fill out an application and go through an interview. Our adoption
facilitators walk them through the shelter and help them find the perfect animal that would best
match their homes. After a potential adopter signs up for a specific animal, there is a cool-down
period. We do veterinarian reference checks and follow-up telephone calls on Mondays to make sure
the potential adopters are still interested. After the telephone interview has taken place, a home visit
is set up and the selected animal is delivered to it's new home.
Our adoption fees are $85 for one cat or kitten and $130 for two cats or kittens. The adoption fee
includes various procedures which have already been performed, such as:
Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency virus tests.
Distemper shots.
Preventative Dewormer
Spay or neuter for all cats at least 8 months of age.
1 year rabies shot
An "Animal Log Sheet" with each animal's health history.
ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE OVER 21 TO ADOPT.
If you visit our pet list and see an animal you are intrested in, please ask for that animal by name
when you visit the shelter. Some animals may be in foster homes at the time of your visit..
We have lots of kitties up for adoption, visit us soon to find the Purr-fect companion.
