The Twig Project was formed as an all breed dog rescue that places a special emphasis on outstanding care and public education to promote responsible pet ownership. Only when we work collectively, can we affect change in the pet overpopulation problem our community is facing. Our rescue also has a soft spot for the breeds that some have dismissed as being aggressive or difficult to work with. We welcome rottweilers, shepherds, mastiff breeds and, of course, the bully breeds into our program. We strive to educate the public on these breeds, so that those who already have the privelege of owning one of these special breeds, can retain the right to do so, and those that are not familiar with them might some day get to experience the joy and companionship they can bring to your home.
We operate off of private funding and donations and rely on your help to continue our efforts.
