We are closing our shelter as of 12/31/06. We are now offering our cats at no charge to you. All you have to do is pass the application. We do still accept and appreciate donations to keep the shelter animals healthy and happy until we close. Please help us find new homes for these wonderful family members.
Who We Are
Hi there, I would like to introduce ourselves We are a non-profit shelter for cats and dogs that have been abandoned, neglected or just plainly not wanted. We came to be in January of 2005. We received our non-profit status with a retroactive date of 1/26/05. We are not funded in any way by the county nor by any other means. We are strictly based on the help of those wonderful people that love animals. Their donations help us save lives all over. All the animals we get, if not too sick are given their shots , wormed , spayed or neutered , free of fleas and ear mites before they are put up for adoption. We do this out of our home in Camp Douglas so, the animals get alot of our attention.
We also run spay/neuter clinics every three months to help our community keep the feline population from growing.
