Who We Are
We are a county run shelter. We are dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted dogs in Monroe County.
Adopting a friend
All adoptions are $40.00
Our dogs will be current on their rabies vaccination, or they will be offered to you at the $40.00 adoption rate with an $8.00 credit voucher for a rabies vaccination good for 30 days. Residents of Monroe County are also required to purchase a dog license.
Puppy adoptions include puppy shots and worming of the puppy which is done at the time of impoundment and spay/neuter contract must be signed at the time of the adoption.
We are looking for volunteers that might be interested in joing the animal awareness group called AWARE. To check out what this group is about go to www.groups.yahoo.com Then type in the word AWARE. Their are several groups with this keyword, so please read the description prior to joining.
