Palouse Canine Pals

Our Pet List

Mission
Our mission is to save the lives of highly adoptable dogs that are in danger of euthanasia or in desperate need of a new home. All dogs are placed in foster homes where they receive housebreaking, socialization and some basic training. We only place animals with good temperament and
good health that are suitable as family companions.
With the help of our adoption application we try to match potential owners with dogs that fit their lifestyle.
Our goal is also to educate the public on spaying/neutering their companion animals and on humane care and training.

Services
We place dogs as companions and sometimes as service animals.
We offer assistance in dog training, dog selection and behavior modification.
We network with other local animal welfare organizations to rescue dogs and find suitable homes for them.

Hours
All our animals are housed in foster homes. We don't have set hours but are available by appointment.

Fees
Our regular adoption fee for mixed breeds is $90.00 and up, for purebred dogs $125.00 and up, which covers most vaccinations, spay/neuter and temperament testing. It also includes one free behavior consultation if the dog is adopted in the Pullman/Moscow area. Exceptions to the regular adoption fee are sometimes possible.

Policies
We usually require one home visit before adoption to assure a good match between the adopter and the dog.
