BRANDIE GIRL is a 1 to 1 ½ year old stray from the Raymond/Willapa Bay area. After no one claimed this little girl, she was slated for euthanasia. Not wanting this exceptional cattle dog put down, rescue organizations were contacted and North Beach PAWS agreed to shelter her until a permanent home can be found. Petite BRANDIE GIRL weighs in at 30.5 pounds and has a sturdy, compact, working dog build. Her double coat is hard, smooth, and dense, which makes it rain resisting. It is fox red with white points - quite beautiful and unique. Brandie exemplifies the Australian Cattle Dogs traits of being loyal, protective, alert, and intelligent. She is one of the smartest dogs we have ever had in the shelter and learns commands overnight. Given a loving, attentive home that includes a lot of training and exercise, this girl will develop into an awesome dog. She ranks right up there with the best of the shelter dogs we have had that can jump straight up into the air at impressive heights. She is at the perfect age to start agility training and we believe that she would excel at it, and would be a force to be reckoned with in the agility ring. Brandie Girl gets along well with all human visitors to the shelter as well as most other dogs, but she sees cats as prey, and should not live in a home with them. Brandie is very unhappy in the shelter. She exclaims often that the shelter is no place for a cattle dog. Come rescue this beautiful dog, and she will reward you with a lifetime of love and devotion. Request an adoption application by e-mailing baushaus@coastaccess.com. Please put BRANDIE GIRL in the subject box of e-mail inquiries. THANK YOU FOR THINKING RESCUE FIRST!
