We are always on the lookout for donations! Right now, we are desperately in need of cat litter, premium cat food and toys for cats.
A Pets F.A.T.E. (Fair Alternative To Euthanasia) was created to help the orphaned dogs and cats in our small, rural area. We are currently the only Humane Society in our county and we are comprised of a small group of volunteers that offer our hearts and all our love to our furry friends in need.
We care for surrendered and stray dogs and cats locally and when we can, other animals in need. We are also the only purebred cat rescue in the entire region and do our best to help as many purebred cats as we can. We have many breed experienced foster homes and volunteers. FATE is proud to assist many large intake shelters by transferring their pregnant and nursing dogs to our foster homes so that moms can have thier babies in the warmth of a loving home with no risk of euthanasia! All pets are vaccinated, vet checked and altered prior to adoption-- no exceptions! Our number one goal is to find that particular pet the home they were always meant to have! We know that great homes are out there!
If you are interested in adopting one of our pets, please request an application. We will review all apps, and get back to you quickly as possible. We require a home check and vet reference. We insist that you ask every question imaginable to insure that the dog or cat you are wanting suits you and you suit them!! Our adoption fees vary based on many factors. We are currently between facilities! FATE will be moving soon! Because of this, all of our animals are in foster homes awaiting adoption. Approved adopters can schedule an appointment to meet their new potential family member. We are very flexible to work around your schedule!
