Who We Are
Animal Rescue of the Kingdom, ARK,Inc., was organized in June of 2002. We are the only no kill organization in our area, specializing in "death row" dogs and dogs that are difficult to place. We also provide spay/neuter coupons good for 50% off at participating vets in an effort to control the exploding population of unwanted dogs. Our treasurer's dog, Annie, writes a weekly column, "Ask Annie" in which she answers letters from dogs about their problems and promotes the adoption of ARK dogs as well as the coupons. She is also a published author with her own web site, www//anniedbg.com, and loves to hear from friends and fans.
Adopting a friend
Animal Rescue of the Kingdom is a no-kill dog rescue organization.. All potential new owners of ARK foster dogs first fill out an application with a follow-up phone interview. When practicable, a home visit is also conducted. Of course, a reference from a vet is part of the process. The adoption fee is $80, but all ARK dogs come neutered with up-to-date shots.

We are shelter-less at the moment. Our dogs live with kind foster families and the local dog boarding facility until they are adopted by you!
