We specialize in cats and kittens, but also help other animals including dogs, rabbits, birds, horses, hamsters, and ferrets.
HSLC fosters our animals with local, loving families and with the kind, caring people at local boarding facilities. We do not operate a shelter. This allows us to give the animals in our care the best of our time and love, without incurring unnecessary overhead expenses.
The members of our all-volunteer team live in all areas of Loudoun County, VA, including Leesburg, Sterling, Waterford, Ashburn, Lovettesville, Middleburg and many others. Adopting a Friend
HSLC is looking for loving, permanent homes for the animals in our care. We require a short home visit, a written Adoption Application, and an adoption fee that may be tax-deductible.
Our animals are completely vet checked, before they are placed for adoption. This includes ensuring they are current on their shots and free from Feline Leukemia and FIV. As a prospective adopter, you will know as much about each animal as we do, before you take the animal home.
