Boston Terrier Club of Maryand's Rescue is a not for profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned or neglected and placing them in permanent, loving, responsible homes. We also accept dogs from private individuals who, for whatever reason, must relinquish their Boston Terrier(s).
Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving permanent families, specifically interested in the breed. We do this by providing temporary foster care, necessary and reasonable medical treatment, personality assessments of the animals, and interviews and homechecks of potential adopters. All dogs receive a medical examination and reasonable treatment before being placed into adoptive homes. Pre-placement medical care includes all vaccinations, heartworm and fecal testing and spay or neuter. We operate throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland.
If you need to surrender a boston, please contact us by e-mailing us at btcmd.rescue@gmail.com . Please know that your information will be kept confidential and you will be dealt with in a respectful and courteous manner.
If you are interested in adopting a boston, please fill out an application posted at our website: Boston Terrier Club of Maryland Rescue. Our current adoption fee is $250.
We are in need of foster homes, people to help get Bostons out of shelters, transporters, and donations. If you would like to help please contact us.
