Who We Are
We are a Small Veterinary practice located along the beautiful Rappahannock River in Tappahannock, Virginia. We are the shelter for our county's animal control. Our goal is to try and save these animals through adoptions. These animals are picked up by animal control and do not belong to us. We very seldom know their tempermant or personalities because they are here for a short time, we do our best to approximate how they will behave.
Adopting a friend
When we adopt out these animals through our clinic they are up to date on shots and are spayed/neutered, if age appropriate, before they leave. Remember that these pets are picked up by animal control and there is a time period for the owners to claim them, it is when that time is up that they can be adopted out. It is very important to let us know if you are interested ahead of time if the pet isn't claimed.
Please remember we are a practicing veterinary clinic and are very busy. It is best to contact us between 1-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

We are located off Rt. 17 North, Tappahannock, Virginia. Turn left onto Airport Road, travel 3/10 of a mile and our building is on the right.
