Animal Welfare And Rescue Efforts, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization in the Lynchburg area. We deal mostly with special needs, hard to adopt, and feral cats in need of a good home.
Presently we are a husband and wife team and are hoping to find other dedicated cat lovers that can help us out.
Donations (cash, food, litter, etc.) are always needed and appreciated.
All of our available animals are posted on this web site with pictures and as much information that we can provide. Adopters must be 21 or over. Please call us if you are interested in any of the animals and we can arrange for you to see them and hopefully bring one or more of them home. In most cases, we prefer that cats/kittens less than 1½ years of age be adopted in pairs or into a household already having another cat or dog.
