Who We Are
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) group of volunteers dedicated to rehoming the purebred Boxer. We are located just south of Roanoke, Virginia and adopt to Virginia residents only.
Tax deductible Donations
Individual and Corporate donations are tax deductible and very much needed.
NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL!
As required by section 57-49 of the Law, this rescue is registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Consumer Affairs.
Adoption Information
You must be a resident in the State of Virginia to adopt. Our adoption fee's are $200. Boxers adopted through this rescue will be up to date in shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered PRIOR to being placed. The rest is up to you.
To Adopt a Boxer through this rescue, you must be willing to do the following at your own expense:
- To provide love & care to your newly adopted Boxer.
- To allow your Boxer to live indoors with you. If you rent, you must show proof that you may keep a dog. We will not approve adoption to homes that keep their dogs tied to a leash all day. Failure to have a fenced yard does not exclude you from being eligible to adopt.
- To keep your Boxer up to date in all required shots.
- To be willing to go through a background check prior to the adoption. May include a Virginia State Police check.
- To allow this rescue to periodically do a home check on the Boxer after adopting.
- To abide by leash and license laws of the town in which you reside.
