Who We Are
The Bridgeport Animal is a modist little shelter in a small town. I can get to know the animals as each one gets one on one attention. Like most cities Bridgeport has a pet overpopulation. When they come to me I do my best to find them homes! Not many people know that the shelter is here and I thank anyone who visits my site.
Adopting a friend
Adopting an animal is easy. The adoption fee is $80.00. Which goes towards a rabies vacination, neutering or spaying the animal at the Bridgeport Animal Hospital. The rest goes towards for the care of the animal.
Rescue groups can pull animals from my shelter but you have to have a 501(3)(C) non-profit standing.

< The Bridgeport Animal Shelter is located on Hwy 920 just outside of Bridgeport. It is inside a compound with The Walter Hale water Treatment Plant. Both are located on the left hand side of the road.
Bridgeport is just 10 north of Decatur on Hwy 380 & 114. It is best to call before coming.>
