Who We Are
Pet Rescue Society Inc. is a non-profit, no-kill organization that was founded in 1994. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and do not receive government funding, we solely depend on contributions. Our animals are in foster care, where we work closely with our animals to rehabilitate them before rehoming them.
We are always in need of volunteers and funds to help us in our effort of rescuing animals through Pet Rescue.
Adopting a friend
Pet Rescue no longer handles felines, we are now a canine only rescue.
Our dogs are in foster care, We all work full time jobs and volunteer, so our schedules do not always allow for an adoption to take place quickly. Each animal is spayed or neutered, current on all vaccinations and heartworm free. Each dog will have a history written up and you will be able to meet with the foster family. Our adoption contract requires the dog be returned to us if the adoption does not work out. The cost of adopting a dog is $200.00.
To adopt a medium or large dog, you will be required to own your own home. We will require veterinarian references and a home check on all dogs. If you are looking for another dog as a companion for your current dog, please bring your dog and make sure your whole family is with you to make the adoption. We do not adopt outside of the DFW area.
