Who We Are...
SOS Beagle Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit rescue organization dedicated to finding new owners for homeless beagles. Our dogs arrive from shelters or direct from owners who are unable to keep them.
Before placement, each beagle:- is brought up to date on distemper and rabies shots
- is spayed or neutered
- is heartworm tested
- is temperament checked with other animals and people
- is microchipped for identification.
Adoptions...
You can begin the adoption process by requesting an information package. This package contains an up-to-date list of all dogs available through our program, whether they are currently in our foster care or awaiting placement with their owners, at shelters or with other groups. An adoption application is also supplied. References will be checked and then you are welcome to make an appointment to come meet the dogs. See our home page at SOS Beagle Rescue
Services...
In addition to placement services, we also offer advice on housebreaking, training, health matters. Our goal is to get your beagle into the best permanent home we can find, and if we can help you make your home the BEST home, we'll be pleased as punch.
Volunteers...
Volunteers are always welcomed -- either to foster a dog, provide transportation or temperament testing, or to man a booth for us at local pet events.
Adoption Fees...
Dog - $175.00
This fee helps to reimburse us for some of the medical expenses incurred in readying your dog for adoption. Your lifetime microchip registration fee is included in the adoption fee.
