Welcome to Hoping Hearts Shelter Rescues, formerly known as tennessee animal rescue
Our Featured Pet...
CHAMP

champ is so sweet and gentle...not a hyper dog, laid back. he would fit perfectly in any family. we had to adopt him from the shelter, just one look in those big brown sad eyes will tell you why...he looks at you so sad as if he has so much he wants to tell you...it just broke my heart. the shelter vet asked me to come and look at this poor fellow, he was skin and bones and not much else. he had been tied to a fence and abandoned by his former owner. the tie around his neck was so tight it had burrowed into his skin. it is amazing he survived. he gets very attached to his human quickly...he wants so much to love and be loved...someone give this guy the security of a forever family his heart longs for.
as with all of our dogs, he will need to go to a home who feels confident in their ability to housetrain a dog ,we feel all potential dog owners should know how or be willing to do this..it just makes good senseNews

Who are we?
We are a small, non-profit organization dedicated to helping homeless animals find permanent and loving homes. All of our adoptable animals come from area high kill shelters. These wonderful animals were destined to be destroyed had we not adopted them on their due date. Sadly, most animals in our nations shelters are not so lucky. For every new animal we place in a forever loving home, we are then able to go and save the life of another. Won't you please consider giving one of these deserving pets a second chance and help in our efforts? If you would like to make a donation, volunteer, or become a foster parent please contact us.

Adopting a friend
All dogs in our foster program have been spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. We require that an adoption questionaire be filled out. References are required and a home visit may also be required before adoption process is complete. Adoption fee varies according to fees paid for veterinary expenses and other costs incurred
