WELCOME!

We are Strictly a foster home based rescue.

All the animals you see here are awaiting their forever home, they all have a story. Some we know and Some we will never know.

If you see a furbaby you like please send an Application today. Please ask about the location of the animal in foster caregivers, most are in upstate South Carolina, in Greenville, Anderson and Oconee counties!

We have many puppies and kittens not featured on this site, but most can be seen every Saturday at Petsmart in Anderson, South Carolina.

Please spay and neuter, it is the only answer to stop senseless euthanasia in our shelters!

Who We Are

ADOPTION FEES FOR DOGS AND PUPPIES RANGE FROM $150.00 TO $300.00, CATS AND KITTEN ADOPTION FEES RANGE FROM $65.00-$85.00 Upstate Animal Rescue Foundation of South Carolina currently operates in, Anderson, Pickens, Greenville, and Oconee counties in the state of South Carolina. We are working toward lowering the rate that dogs and cats are being put to death in animal shelters by assisting animals into breed specific rescues as well as into private, adoptive placements. This is primarily done by the use of foster homes as intermediaries.

The majority of the animals that you will see posted by UARFSC through Petfinder.com, are awaiting foster care and/or permanent homes. We are a proud Partner with Petsmart charities!

Adopting a Friend

If you would like to adopt any of the animals that are posted here, just contact the e-mails listed for that particular pet. We will make every effort to answer all of your questions and to make adoptions happen as quickly as possible.

All adopted animals must be kept as indoor pets, with appropriate and secure exercise time outside, this is to help ensure that the adopted animal will be a part of the family. We do not allow cabling or chaining of any animal. If you currently cable or chain your pet, we will not approve you for adoption.

If you have un-altered pets or dogs who are not on heart worm prevention, we will not approve you for adoption.

If you would like to learn more about spay/neuter or why not to chain and cable your dogs, please contact kblair01017@yahoo.com for educational information.

We require a completed adoption application, a veterinary reference, and/or a home visit for any and all adoptions. Adopters must sign a legally binding contract. Also please remember that, we adopt some animals who are too young for the rabies vaccine at the time of adoption. It is your responsibility, as the new pet parent, to obtain this vaccine against the deadly rabies disease. You must sign a rabies verification contract.

Adoption fees are CASH ONLY!

To meet one of the available pets, you must contact the foster home via email listed by the pet to schedule a private meeting. Someone will contact you as quickly as possible. Please understand it may take several days to process an application. We match the animal to the best applicant suited for the animals care and welfare. We do not introduce you to the animal until the application has been approved.
