The Oconee Humane Society serves the greater Oconee County. Our mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by: providing shelter for unwanted animals; developing educational programs for responsible pet ownership; conducting spay and neuter programs; placing adopted animals in humane environments and advocating the humane treatment of animals and welfare issues.

Adopting a friend
Please contact the foster parents listed for more information about the pets.  Our dogs are all in foster homes and are not housed at the shelter.
 
Foster Dog Adoption Fees:
Pricing will vary, See Animal Description
 
Our Adoptions include:
All Vaccinations, worming (intestinal parasites), Ear mite treatments ( if needed), Frontline treatment for flea and ticks and  it is Spayed or Neutered.
