My amazing girl Jade...a gorgeous black Lab who won my heart and opened my eyes to seeing the world differently. Jade is blind but has allowed me to focus on what's really important in life...including finding her forever home.
HAPPY ENDINGS
A VERY HAPPY ENDING...PLEASE LOOK AT TAYLOR AND CHIEF...TAYLOR was a terrified puppy mill girl/breeding stock who had never known love, attention or tlc...just a cage with no human contact. She came into rescue and had to have 13 teeth extracted and learn the basics of being loved ..Enter Melissa G who had nursed her pem in final years who had Degenerative Myelopathy...a neurological disease common in Corgis and German Shepherds which causes paralysis. Melissa's girl went to the bridge and she was ready to open her heart to this special girl who has blossomed and is now called GRACE. MISS GRACE was ready for another four legged friend...enter Chief a 7 yr old stunning boy who had been raised as an outside dog and who sired more than his share of pups...CHIEF is now GRACE"S BEST "BUD":...thank you Melissa for the love you have given and opening your heart.

WHO WE ARE AND ADOPTING FROM US
Our Mission is to rescue,evaluate ,socialize and vet our fosters initially. These dogs are so deserving of a second chance and we expect to place them in homes that will love and care for them in a way befitting a loyal family member .
We are selective in placing our pets and applications are mandatory These pets which come into rescue want a second chance and we want to be assured that they have the best home possible. Once an application is completed & approved, your vet will be contacted for reference and a home check will be done. If you currently own other pets, a 'Meet and Greet Session' may be required. Most of our fosters are placed in the Southeast;however, in some circumstances and based on time of year/weather,flight reservations can be arranged. Please email or call the individual listed for a specific pet of interest.
