1 year old neutered male DSH orange Tiger. Buck is a friendly, outgoing loveable guy. He enjoys the usual cat activities, being petted, playing with toys and getting lots of rest. Feline leukemia and aids negative; up to date on shots.

Meetings
The second Wednesday of every month. From 7:00 p.m. to about 8:00 p.m. Meetings will be held at the East Greenwich Town Hall; 2nd level Peirce Strret conference room B. Please call 885-1158 to get directions and information. Just come and say hello. We would love to have you.
Who We Are
Our mission is to find suitable placement for all unclaimed stray, adoptable, East Greenwich cats and dogs, after updating them on necessary shots and providing spaying and neutering as needed and to keep the cats and dogs in a private animal shelter until they are adopted.
Adopting a friend
Adoption Procedures
1. Complete the Adoption Aplication at Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital
A. Proof of home ownership or landlord permission/copy of lease
B. Veterinary records for current or most recent pets
2. Adoption Contract competed and signed.
3. Adoption fee paid in full, (cash only please).
4. Cats being adopted MUST be taken home in a secure cat carrier. (Please supply your own.)
5. Dogs being adopted MUST be wearing a collar and be leashed. (Please supply your own.)
The East Greenwich Animal Protection League has done the following for the animals in their care:
1. Veterinary examination.
2. Tested for feline leukemia and aids.
3. Treatment for ears mites, parasites and other medical conditions if necessary.
4. Distemper shots and also rabies shot if old enough.
5. All cats and kittens over 5-6 months have been spayed or neutered.
6. EGAPL pays to keep them boarded at an animal hospital where they are under the care of a veterinarianor a veterinary technician.
7. Heartworm testing and monthly medication. Heartworm treatment if necessary.
To adopt a neutered or spayed cat the fee is $90.
All adoptable kittens have been spayed or neutered.
To adopt a kitten over 6 months is $120.
Prices for kittens under 6 months are $140.
We are now providing you with a cat/kitten that has been microchipped and registered.
That is an additional fee of $15.
When you are picking up the cat or kitten, we also require a good quality plastic cat carrier.
The prices for our neutered or spayed dogs will be given with the write up for each dog on our adopt-a-pet page. The prices will vary due to the age, breed and amount of care that we will be giving the dog.
We are now providing you with a dog/puppy that has been microchipped and registered. That is an additional fee of $15.
CASH ONLY for all of the above.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED:
Homeowners - a copy of a property tax bill or mortgage statement
Renters - a copy of lease showing pets are allowed, or landlord permission.
Veterinary records for current or most recent pets.

We pay to board our animals at the Greenwich Bay Animal Hospital, located at 5732 Post Road, East Greenwich, R.I., near the North Kingstown line.
We would appreciate your coming to see us on Sundays, from 10:30a.m. - 1:00 p.m., because there are no East Greenwich Animal Protection League volunteers at the hospital.

From the Northern part of R.I., take 95S towards New York. Bear left on RI-4 at Exit 9 and go South for 2.4 miles. Continue on ramp at sign reading Exit 7 and go South for 0.7 miles. Bear right on Frenchtown Road RI-402 and go East for 1.2 miles. Turn left on Post Rd, US-1 and go North for 0.4 miles to 5732 Post Road.
From the Southern part of R.I.,take RI-4 and go North for 6 miles. Take the RI-2 exit, #6, towards East Greenwich. Turn left onto South County Trail/RI-2 N for 1 mile. Turn right onto Frenchtown Rd. and go East for 1.4 miles. Bear left and go North for 200 feet. Turn left on Post Rd., US-1 and go North for 0.4 miles to 5732 Post Rd.
From the Western part of R.I., get on RI-2 Quaker Lane going South. Turn left onto Division St./RI-401. Go 1.6 miles. Turn slightly right onto First Avenue. Go 0.9 mile. Turn right onto Main Street/US1/Post Road. Go 1.3 miles to 5732 Post Road.
