Currently Nittany Beagle Rescue is in desperate need of Foster Homes.
We would greatly appreciate any volunteers who would be able to assist us in our foster program, particularly in central Pennsylvania.
Who We Are
Nittany Beagle Rescue is a breed specific Rescue that works to find homes for unwanted Beagles.
Beagles are a member of the scent hound group. They vary between 13 and 15 inches at the shoulder and usually weigh between 20 and 30 pounds. They possess a short coat and are easily groomed. Beagles often live to 15 years.
Most of the Rescue Beagles that we place are between 1 and 4 years old. They have all been examined by a veterinarian, brought up to date on their shots, spayed or neutered and have had their temperament checked.
Adopting a Rescue Beagle
Anyone interested in adopting a Rescue Beagle must fill out an Adoption Application. Once approved the adopter must sign an Adoption Contract. One of the stipulations in the contract is that the Beagle will be kept as a house pet and must be returned to Nittany Beagle Rescue if the adopter can no longer keep the Beagle.
