Our Featured Pet...

UPDATE 04/23/08: We have recently made an exception to our intake policy by accepting a 4-month-old, blind, Chocolate Lab puppy into our program. She was found roaming in a remote area and no one has responded to found ads. We suspect that she was abandoned and would surely have died a slow and painful death if a good samaritan had not found her and asked for our help. Her pads were raw and blisters had formed on them. The blisters tore open and they were bleeding. She was also covered with ticks. We have named her April. April will recieve a great deal of behavior modification before she will be ready for her forever home. This could take several months. Watch for her posting and read about her progress soon in our adoption pages.

Who We Are

Empathy Program Lab Rescue has recently had to discontinue its Animal In-take Program. While we no longer intake animals we continue our work with educating the public about responsible pet ownership and we post animals for people needing to rehome their pets. We also cross-post animals for other agencies to increase exposure for some really great pets needing a second chance. Animals must be temperament tested, spayed/neutered, current on inoculations in order to qualify for posting with us.
