Our adoptive homes must fill out an application, have a telephone interview, all references will be checked and a volunteer will visit your home to meet you and your family - we try to get to know our adoptive homes as well as we know our dogs. We do our "matchmaking" by getting to know our potential adoptive homes as well each individual dog in the rescue. That way we can set up dog and home in accordance to their lifestyles and experience level. We are not like a pound....we do reference checks, and a home visit to meet the potential home. All our dogs live in foster homes, not kennels, so we get to know them too.....they are all altered, vaccinated, micro chipped, HW tested and anything else they need to be in the best possible health prior to adoption. We also temperament-test all dogs prior to acceptance into the program, and our foster homes allow us to continue to assess the dogs in a real home environment.

Sadly there is no shortage of Rottweilers needing homes - we have many great dogs in our program looking for wonderful forever homes. There are always more dogs waiting to come into our program then we can help. Sadly, only those who have been lucky enough to secure a foster home have been able to enter. We can never have enough foster homes to deal with the dogs that have been picked up as strays or dumped into shelters. The dogs listed here do not always include the most recent additions to our program as we get to know them a little through their foster family before listing them as available. If you have dog experience and could find it in your heart to open your home to a Rottie in need - we're always looking for foster homes.
