Who We Are
A.R.F. Mission Statement
Animal Rescue Friends (A.R.F.) is a charitable, tax exempt, humane
organization incorporated to assist lost Nichols Hills pets in finding
their owners, to help reduce the cost of stray animal problems for the
city of Nichols Hills and to insure the welfare of animals impounded
by the city of Nichols Hills.
Certificate of Incorporation was received March 15, 2000
A.R.F. formed April of 1999 - we are completely volunteer and funded entirely on donations. Most of our volunteers are local area teenagers who love animals. They receive community service hours for their time spent with us.
We now have our not for profit 501 c 3 status and have rescued more than 600 animals since our inception.
Adopting a friend
If you qualify you may adopt one of our rescued cats or dogs (all vaccinated, tested, spayed/neutered and in good health) for a fee of $70.
You may ask us about 'trial adoptions' and foster care. ARF reserves the right to inspect the animal's living conditions in your home and to contact your veterinarian for recommendations.
Come Visit Us!
We do not have a physical location but bring our adoptive animals to Petsmart at 63rd & North May in Oklahoma City almost every Sunday afternoon. Sometimes we take them to alternate locations You may reach one of our volunteers by calling 405-843-4222 or 405-843-3038 for more information on how you may adopt or help.
