We offer a 7-day foster adopt program.
Take any pet home for up to 7 days and if it doesn't work out, receive a full refund of the adoption fee.
Up to 30 days, the pet may be exchanged at no additional cost (at adoption counselor's discretion).
Who We Are
Pets & People Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill humane society run by volunteers that rescues adoptable dogs and cats from 21 municipal Animal Control facilities across the State of Oklahoma on the day they are to be euthanized. We provide a safe harbor until the animal is adopted to responsible, loving homes. All pets are spayed or neutered to help end the vicious cycle of homeless pets.Adopting a friend
Dogs & cats may be adopted from our shelter in Yukon seven days a week from noon until 5PM. If you need to talk to us by phone, leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We share premises with the Yukon Animal Shelter.Come Visit Us!
