Are you considering a getaway and looking for a place to board your feline or canine friend? Or maybe you have an upcoming romantic weekend or family get together during the weekend and the question of where to board your family member has crossed your mind?
We would be more than happy to recommend Danielle's boarding kennels. Located at 21782 Royalton Road in Strongsville, the boarding kennel has been started by Jim and Rosalie Strachan as a family business. Still going strong in its reputation and the number of boarders that they serve, Danielle's boarding kennels is one to put on your list. The health, well-being, happiness and cleanliness is their top priority in ensuring happy campers and happy parents. Check them out today at (440) 238-7179. Their doors are open during regular business hours if you would like to tour their facility including their spacious indoor/outdoor runs.
Thank you for visiting our website!! Every month we like to shed light on two of our adoptable rescues (male and female) who we think are both exceptionally wonderful adoptables whom we'd like to share their stories about. Our two featured pets along with others are looking for loving and permanent homes.
Our Shining Stars for This Month Is........Mama D and her 2 little girls!!
Check out these cute puppies!! Being that we are not totally sure what breed Mama is (some breeds that come to mind are boxer/shepherd along with maybe some akita or shiba inu), she is a strong, wonderful and caring mother. From the time of the birth of her pups, 3 males and 3 females (mind you without drugs and we all know that labor is not fun!!!), this lovely girl has ensured the happiness and well-being of her pups. Delilah has now handed over the "mothering" job to us by making sure that we find good homes for her babies. Don't forget that Mama Delilah is also looking for a home for herself as well!!!
Who We Are
We are a small group of animal lovers that have formed a no-kill organization that involves the rescuing and rehoming of homeless dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (purebred and mixes). The majority of our rescues come from county dog pounds in Ohio who are scheduled to be gassed shortly.
Adopting a friend
Thank you for considering to adopt a homeless dog or cat!! We have many wonderful dogs and cats that are awaiting loving and permanent homes so feel free to browse around. We would be more than happy to assist you if need be in matching one of our rescues to your home situation and any specific needs. If you are interested in a dog/cat that you believe would make a good match for you and your home, please contact the person that is listed under the pet. To make a lifelong adoption with one of our rescues, an adoption application is required and is to be filled out prior to meeting the pet. After the application has been reviewed, an appointment can be set up for you and your family to meet the dog/cat.
An adoption fee is required for all our rescues which can range from $75 + for dogs (depending on the size, age and whether it is a purebred) and $50-$75 for cats and kittens (depending on the age and whether it is declawed or not). A follow-up is conducted a month after the adoption has taken place to ensure that things are working smoothly for both the dog/cat and the family.
We make sure that every rescue is healthy and happy before going to their forever home. Each and every dog receives their DHLPP vaccine, rabies, heartworm test, fecal exam for worms, spay/neuter, and grooming or bath. Their first heartworm pill is given as well to start their new life heartworm free. It is highly recommended that heartworm preventative is continued throughout the dog's life.
Each and every one of our cats receives their yearly vaccines, rabies, was tested for FIV as well as for FIP, and spayed/neutered.
**We apologize but are unable to adopt out to families with toddlers***
**We apologize but we do not adopt out of the state of Ohio. No exceptions.**
Come Visit Us!
Most of our rescues are kept at boarding facilities both on the west and east side of Cleveland until loving and permanent homes can be found. A few of our other rescues are in foster homes. Please contact the person who has the dog/cat up for adoption to find out the location of the pet and to schedule an appointment.
