 Sarah is an adorable boxer/shepherd/hound mix (we think!) who we rescued from a rural shelter. Sarah is a super sweet girl who absolutely LOVES people and craves attention---she is GREAT with kids and would love one of her "own" to play with! She knows sit, shake, down, walks GREAT on a leash, and would make a good jogging partner. She would prefer an active home with time to spend with her. She is crate-trained and mostly housetrained. Sarah gets along with other dogs after some time to become comfortable, but does not do well with cats. She would love to be an only dog so that she could have all of your attention! Sarah's adoption fee is $175, which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, all vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test & started on prevention), started on flea/tick prevention and a leash & collar. Stop The Suffering is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization working to save the lives of dogs and cats in high kill shelters, primarily in Rural Ohio. We have a network of volunteers who keep a close eye on many animal shelters both local and otherwise. When an animal is placed on the “euthanasia short list” we contact the shelter to let them know we will be coming to rescue the animal. |
