Gamay
is our pet of the month!
Hi, I'm Gamay, an affectionate Rotty mix born in November 2005. I'm a medium-energy girl who loves to take walks and be with my people. I'd love to find a family with teens/adults who want to play with me and take me for walks. I'm such a lovergirl, and I'm fine with dogs and cats. Plus, I'm really smart: I'm already housetrained, crate trained and know some basic obedience. I just can't wait to find my forever family so I can prove how much love I have to give!!
FOSTER FAMILIES NEEDED!
We have many dogs at Circle Tail who could benefit from being in a foster home. Foster families help teach the dog house manners and basic obedience - essentially, how to make a good pet. If you would enjoy the rewarding experience of fostering, please give us a call or e-mail . You can also download the

Circle Tail offers affordable training and boarding. We hold six week basic obedience classes for dogs and puppies 14 weeks and older. Class size is small for individual attention, and it's a great way to socialize your dog or puppy and to help him or her learn good manners. Adoption Weekends:
We have many puppies and dogs available for adoption, so if you see one you want, submit your online preadoption survey. If you see a pet on our pet list that you are interested in, please contact us so we can be sure to bring him/her home. Most of our adoptions take place at Circle Tail, so if you would like to meet any of our dogs at Circle Tail, submit your online preadoption form, and we'll set up an appointment. Most of our dogs for adoption are not housed on site at Circle Tail. They stay in one of the four Ohio Correctional Institutions we work with where they learn age appropriate obedience commands, house manners, and house training. You can e-mail us or call at 513-877-3325 for an appointment to visit Circle Tail to adopt a dog. Note that you must have an approved preadoption form before making an appointment. Please allow at least one week so we can bring the dog back to Circle Tail.

WHO WE ARE
Circle Tail, Inc., located about 30 miles northeast of Cincinnati, Ohio, provides quality assistance dogs to people with mobility, hearing, neurological, and psychiatric disabilities, and promotes the human-canine bond in the community by providing dog adoptions, obedience training, behavior management and boarding services.
We do not have a breeding program; we obtain our assistance dogs through donations and from shelters and rescues. Careful selection of dogs and puppies from shelters and unwanted litters not only helps a person with special needs, but also brings purpose to an unwanted dog's life. Circle Tail is dedicated to promoting responsible companion animal care. We have many wonderful dogs for adoption.
ADOPTING A FRIEND
Our animals are vet checked, vaccinated, placed on heartworm prevention and flea prevention when old enough, and spayed or neutered before adoption. Potential adopters fill out a preadoption survey and sign an adoption contract. We are at Cincinnati-area pet supply stores on selected weekends. See www.circletail.org for dates and locations. Also, e-mail us or call 513-877-3325 to schedule an appointment at Circle Tail to see the dogs. Please allow at least one week so we can bring the dog back to Circle Tail, as they are not normally housed there.

VOLUNTEERING:
Come visit us if you are interested in volunteering! Circle Tail has numerous opportunites for volunteering, including caring for the dogs, staffing the Petsmart adoption area during adoption times, compiling literature for mailings, helping with fundraising activities, fostering dogs, etc. Short Term Foster homes are especially needed. If you are interested in becoming a short term foster family, please fill out our foster family application. You can snail mail it in or copy and paste into a Word file and e-mail it as an attachment (due to the threat of viruses, please note that it is a foster family application in the subject line). You can e-mail us or call (513) 877-3325 if you would like to volunteer.

Circle Tail is located off Route 132, about 30 miles northeast of Cincinnati. Please e-mail or call us (513) 877-3325 to set up an appointment if you'd like to come visit. Most of our dogs are not on site; instead, they are housed at one of four Ohio correctional facilities, where they are house trained and taught proper house manners. Because the dogs are not usually at Circle Tail, adopters need an approved adoption survey before scheduling an appointment.
