Lola!

Lola is a very sweet and calm dog that ended up in a local shelter very pregnant. When her time was up, we were contacted to see if we could help her. She delivered a litter of 5 puppies 3 days after coming to us. She is great dog. She likes other dogs and children. She weighs about 45 lbs. She is possibly two years old. She has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $145.00.

Who We Are

Friends of Noah is the adoption program for All Creatures Animal Hospital. All Creatures Animal Hospital started the adoption program in 1992. Since then, more than 1000 cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, and various other small animals have been adopted through the program. Most of these animals were strays that were never claimed by owners, but many were also abandoned. We started by saving one mama and her kittens, to caring for several cages of kittens, many without mamas. Noah’s Treasures was started in November 2000. Noah’s purpose was to help fund the growing number of abandoned animals. Many come to us weeks before they are weaned, and many are sick or injured. Cost for care and medications have been donated by Dr. Meakin and his caring staff. We are now taking this to a different level. Our adoption program is now a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization called “Friends of Noah.” We are excited to be able to continue this program of helping the animals that seem to be thrown away by our society. We want to reiterate, although we are located on the grounds of one of the LARGEST animal hospitals in southern Ohio, we are a non-profit organization. We get no free services from the hospital, we pay for all treatment for our adoptions, plus our own food and supplies. This has been an incredibly busy spring for us with many mothers and babies dropped off for our care, and we are happy to help them, but most people who want our help, walk away without even offering a donation. This has brought our budget into the basement. Please reach down and help us so that we may continue to help these helpless guys and gals who otherwise would be living out of the dumpsters or left to perish.

Adopting a friend

There are always loving, good natured animals needing homes. Won't you open your heart and adopt one of these vet checked, spayed or neutered sweethearts? The adoption fee of $145 covers the cost of spaying/neutering, vaccinations for the first year, worming, heartworm test, physical examination and microchipping. We do require the purchase of heartworm preventative at the time of the adoption of a dog. While this is not included in the adoption fee, it is sold on-premises for your convenience.

We do these services below our cost just to get these pets into good homes. If you were to get a pet from a "free to a good home" ad, you would end up paying a lot more than our adoption fee by the time you factor in the necessary veterinary services. Our pets are all friendly and well socialized. Any of them would make great pets. Stop by! There are lots to choose from.

Ways to Help

All donations go toward keeping these guys warm and fed.
We also need mature volunteers for daily cat & kitten care and TLC.

A note to those who already have pets: Please, please spay or neuter your pet. If we had no babies needing homes we would be eternally grateful.
