News

We are a all breed and mixed breed rescue. We try to help as many as we can but we are very small and can only keep a few animals at a time. We do rescue many dogs from the pound and also help with owner surrenders needing to place their pets. We do rescue work out of our homes. I can only house a few dogs and give them the care and love they deserve while the other woman using this site has a farm and does do horse rescue also. Scioto County is coming along with making changes to help stop the over pet population but it takes time. With changes made at our local Dog Shelter to spay/neuter all pets being adopted and Sierra's Haven www.sierrashaven.org doing low-cost spay/neuter clinic for low-income families. Maybe in a few years we will see some changes with the huge overpopulation of pets.

What we need

we need........ newspaper, Money to pay for vet bills, dog beds, flea and tick prevention, doggie treats, doggie toys, foster homes (people willing to hold on to pets while they are being vetted and awaiting a new home) all vet bills will be paid by rescue, foster homes will be required to buy food and supply the love. Some dogs need help with socialization prior to being adopted, paper towels, bleach, dogs crates and kennels.
