Who We Are
We are the only Humane Society in Crawford County. We house all animals that are picked up as strays from the Dog Warden(s) and City Animal Control, along with the animals that are no longer wanted by their owners. We built our new shelter in 1997 and have a great staff to maintain a clean and loving environment for all of our animals. Be sure to visit our website at: www.crawfordhumane.com
Adopting a friend
Our adoption fees are $60 for dogs/puppies and $35 for cats/kittens. We require spaying/neutering of all animals and provide discount coupons to the new owners to assist with the additional cost. Our hours are 10:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 11:00 am - 3:00 pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.
Come Visit Us!
We would be pleased to have you stop by our shelter at 3590 State Route 98 in Bucyrus. If you have the time, come and play Bingo with us on Wednesday evenings and the second Saturday of each month at the Crawford County Conservation League located on State Route 98, approximately 1/4 mile from the Shelter. Lots of door prizes, free coffee, great food and fun. Games begin at 6:30 pm and doors open at 4:30 pm.
