Who We Are

Society for The Protection of Animals (S.P.A.) is a non-profit, no kill organization founded as a non-profit in March of 1999. This organization was created to provide a pro-active solution for minimizing the stray cat/dog population in our city. You can reach us at 419-334-2773.

SPA's volunteer network is busy fostering and finding homes for stray animals, searching for funding resources, and creating spay/neuter programs for animals. We are actively seeking supporters to assist our organization in reaching our goals.

A particular emphasis of S.P.A. is the elimination of pet overpopulation. Society for the Protection of Animals is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that receives no governmental funding, but relies solely on individual and corporate donations, grants, memberships and bequests.

Join us in our pursuit of creating a healthy and safe environment for our animal population.

NOTE: As a service to our community, we are also listing animals that are still in the care of their owners who will soon be needing homes. You will find these animals, in addition to the ones we are caring for, on our "pet list".

CLICK FOR APPLICATION

We ask a minimum donation of $75 for the adoption of each dog/puppy, and $65 for the adoption for each cat/kitten.
