News
We are looking for people that can volunteer their time 1 day per week, in the mornings, 7:30 am to 8:00am. This includes letting the dogs out to play, feeding, cleaning cages, playing with the dogs and whatever else is necessary. This usually takes anywhere from 1.5 hrs to 2 hours. Of course, if you would like to volunteer more than 1 day per week, that would be wonderful! Please contact us at 440-775-4101 if you can help.

OASIS, Oberlin Aid to Strays In distresS, is a non-profit, no-kill, all volunteer dog shelter.We beleive that every life is precious and every dog deserves a second chance.
Adopting a friend
Please read about our dogs on this site and if you would like to ask more about them and/or see them, call us. We would like to help you decide if you and the dog are "right for each other". We consider ourselves "matchmakers" because we want adoptions to be a lifelong commitment.
Come Visit Us!
Please call us at (440) 775-4101 for an appointment to visit our dogs. We are a small group of volunteers and unable to provide regular "open" hours. We will return your call in the evening.
