Effective Monday April 28, 2008, the cost of all dogs will be 84.00. The dog will be adopted, paid for, taken to the vet for surgery by us and picked up and held until the next day. No dog will leave the pound without being sterilized. (Cost to approved 501c3 rescues will be 79.00) This new fee will include spay/neuter, rabies, 5 way shot, bordetella, license and adoption fee. We have a NEW HOLD POLICY effective April 4, 2008. No holds will be taken on owner surrenders. A hold can be placed on ONLY one dog (exceptions made for rescues). You MUST adopt the dog or call to verify the time you're coming in by 12noon the day of your hold to verify that you will be coming or your hold will be void and the next hold will be called.
Donations greatly appreciated. We need AA batteries, towels, flea medication, worming medication, shampoo, brushes, canned adult food, puppy food, stainless steel dog bowls, rubber backed rugs, collars, leashes, gas cards and most of all...VOLUNTEERS!!
If a dog is marked SPONSORED that means someone has donated their adoption fee. The adopter only has to pay the spay/neuter fee or deposit. For more information contact starkdoginfo@yahoo.com.
