The new board of the Champaign County Humane Association would like to ask for your assistance in supporting their efforts to better serve the community
By sponsoring the shelter on a monthly basis it increases the quality of care we can provide. Giving a monthly sum also eliminates the financial burden of the wanting to help, making it affordable for everyone.
NO MONTHLY DONATION IS TOO SMALL!!
DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTABLE!!
All donations go solely to the care and maintenance of the animals in the shelters care!!

Shelter Needs:
The shelter is always in need of help. Whether it be monitary, newspapers, supplies, or even volunteering. Also there are available wishlists at the Urbana Walmart and Kroger stores. Some ideas are listed below.
ALWAYS IN NEED:
- Kitten Food
- Scoopable Cat Litter
- Dog Biscuits/Treats
- Bleach
- Laundry Detergent
- Towels
- Dog Leashes
- Paper Towels
Paper Recycling
The shelter is also in need of your already read newspapers. We use the newspapers to line the cat/kitten cages.
There are also recycling receptacles in the parking lot for newspapers, magizines, old school papers, and junk mail. (NOT Cardboard or Phone Books)
We receive a donation for every ton of paper we have. It's a great way to help the animals and keep the landfills from filling up!
SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PETS
Taking care of your pet means more than just feeding, walking and playing with them. Thousands of animals are put to sleep each year because people do not spay or neuter their pets. ONE CAT AND HER OFFSPRING CAN PRODUCE 420,000 CATS IN A SEVEN YEAR PERIOD! BE RESPONSBILE-HAVE YOUR PETS SPAYED OR NEUTERED!!!
