Thanksgiving is almost here. Share your gratitude and your home with one of our rescued kittens or young adult cats. These wonderful cats have so much love to give, and are only looking for the right person to give it to. Open your heart and your home to a new pet. You'll be so glad you did!
. Now is the purrfect time to add one of these lovely kitties to your family! All of our rescued kittens are examined by our veterinarians, vaccinated and loved until you take them home. Call or email us to find out more.
Community Cats is a 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation dedicated to all aspects of cat rescue in northern Westchester County. We rely entirely on donations to continue our work providing outstanding care for feral and homeless cats.
The heart of our operation is our TNR (trap, neuter and return) program. Through our spay/neuter and vaccinate program, adoption outreach and daily feedings, these animals are leading happier, healthier lives. Feral cats are retuned to their colonies after surgery and kittens and tame adult cats are taken into foster care until permanent homes are found.
We have begun a new program that provides food and low cost
veterinary care for elderly local residents on fixed incomes, enabling them to
keep their best friends. Donations are needed for this program. Both cat food
and funding are gratefully accepted.
We also help owners locate lost cats and assist people who feel they must find a new home for their cat.
Donations Needed
At this time of year, with the dozens of kittens we're caring for, we're hoping for donations of cat beds, kitten food, KMR (kitten milk replacer) cat toys and cat carriers. If you would like to donate any of these, we'd be very grateful!
Volunteers Needed
Community Cats really needs volunteer feeders for our area's homeless cats. We provide training and food. In just an hour to an hour and a half a week, you can provide a life-saving service to the homeless cats of northern Westchester.

Community Cats president Penny Berk and a litter of five adorable kittens were featured on the Martha Stewart Show on Oct. 12th, 2005. Needless to say, we had lots of potential adopters for the litter!
All were adopted into wonderful homes. Thanks Martha!
